Fuller CV Review

Fuller CV Review. Although there quite a few CV writing services out there, the quality of them seems to dissipate after the top two. Fuller CV seem to have a lot of bad write ups, although there are occasionally some good ones too.

There seems to be a lot of bad blood with customers who actually have to pay for a ‘free’ cv review. £11.59 for a free CV review doesn’t sound right to me.

It is pretty hard to spend money on a Fuller CV after reading a Fuller CV review like this online (on MoneySavingExpert.com forum):

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! The free CV review is to tell you how shockingly awful your CV is.  For a consultant to call you the cost depends on the salary you are looking for i.e. £19k – £119.00  and if you’re between £40k to £50k to £299.00

I booked a call and was told that a consultant would call and spend between three quarters of an hour to two hours depending on the information that needed to be covered.

I was told that I didn’t need to do anything to my CV as the consultant was a professional and would tailor my CV from our in depth conversation of my experience, skills and past roles.

Once you’ve paid you cannot cancel without a penalty even if you find a job in the mean time!

I was called by the consultant 10 MINUTES LATER THAN EXPECTED and whilst explaining to the consultant why I had changed my career direction, I was told that I was wasting my booking time (where was the customer service?).  I was also told that he would have to have a word with the office (they must be self – employed consultants or sub contractors or something) as the call is supposed to be like an interview.

He spent a total of 1 hour and 2 minutes on the phone ONLY (obviously an hour is all you are going to get!) and wanted figures, account details, percentages and market sizes from a position I had held some 6 years previous. Information that I could have had prepared should I have been advised, but is this information really needed? I don’t think so.

My CV turned out to have errors and was based on guess-timated figures – not very professional!  I sit here now and have to re-write my own CV to put it right.

The whole thing was extremely rushed and that I didn’t get to say what I wanted to say to improve my CV.  And if I did want to say anything I was wasting some of my £310.00 per hour time!

Bottom line of our Fuller CV review: Rushed. Very expensive, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!
