CV Consultants seem to be a little bit arrogant on their site, saying they "do not use exaggerated claims to sell our services." I'm not sure which of the other CV writing service do this. Most of them seem quite open and honest. Perhaps Fuller is a bit exaggerated considering the number of bad reviews they have all over the Internet.
They have a wide range of products, which all makes it a bit confusing.
A Mid Career curriculum vitae is a staggering £159. This is apparently for an executive who is working but looking to move their way up the career path.
For a Manager it is £179 (compared to around £49 from The CV Centre) - a massive jump for the price, when you are looking at the same quality or above.
A 'Career Change CV' is £179. This is not something niche that they only CV Consultants do, you can specify it if you use any other CV writing service.
A student or graduate curriculum vitae is £125. I don't know how I would have been able to afford this if I was a student or graduate. Maybe if you have a rich relative, then you can get them to buy this for you. But, again, The CV Centre is £32.50, bargain and you'll get exactly the same quality and 100% money-back guarantee.
Cover letter writing is £25, which is about in-line with the other professional writing services. This is about the only reasonable price to choose from!
They do seem to offer 100% satisfaction and they do offer 100% money back guarantee. The prices are high, so I'd certainly order with at a cheaper price with another company than spend so much with this particular writing service.
I'd rate them at equal fourth place with Fuller in the best CV writing services.
